Garfield W Seeley Jr., 74 of Chesterfield township, formerly of Madison Heights for 20 years, died Wednesday, Sept; 4, 2002, at Bi-County Community Hospital, Warren. He was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Ferndale.
Mr. Seeley retired from Ford Motor Sterling Axle Plant after 27-1/2 years of service. He was a member of American Legion David E. Cleary Post 167, Clawson. He served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Christine R whom he married March 15, 1957, in Highland Park; children, Barbara Varney of Montpelier, Ohio, Richard Boggs of Warren, Steven (Kim) Boggs Of Chesterfield Township, Kathleen (Gary) Stephens, also of Chesterfield Township, and Peggy (Tom) McCarthy of Colombiaville; sisters, Dorothy Spade of Ferndale, Doris Pulford of Orlando, Fla., and Edith Soucie of Warren; 28 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sisters, Ruth and Grace.
