SEELEY, FERNE –
Ferne Seeley of Hartland passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland. She was born May 13, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mae (Craig) Day. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 2009; brothers, Albert Day, Eugene Day; sister, Alice Glass; brother-in-law, Winifred Glass; sister-in-law, Margaret Day. Ferne is survived by her daughters, Joanne (Keith) Murphy of Saint John, Cynthia Klinkhammer of Winnipeg, Manitoba; grandchildren, Wayne (Angela) Murphy of Norton, Nancy Murphy of Fredericton, Jason Klinkhammer of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Derek Klikhammer of Winnipeg, Manitoba; great grandchildren, Abby, Aidan, Nason, Elias and Matthew Murphy; sister-in-law, Florence Day of Hartland; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brandon Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. If so desired donations can be made to the Hartland United Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Society.
