MRS. EBENEZER SEELEY

Mrs. Eva Blanche Seeley of Painted Post RD 2, widow of Ebenezer Seeley who died in 1951, died about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Corning Hospital.

Mrs. Seeley had been hospitalized about seven weeks, following a back injury she received in a fall. Two weeks ago she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mrs. Seeley was the daughter of William H. and Frances Foster. She was married to Ebenezer Seeley in Oklahoma in 1903.

Mrs. Seeley had resided in this area for the past 16 years and was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Surviving are: one son, Phay E. Seeley, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Davis of Gang Mills; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at Carpenter’s Funeral Home in Painted Post this evening and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted there Wednesday at 2 p.m., followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery at Dundee.
