Ethel M. Seely

(1884)

Ethel M. Seely

Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Seeley, of this place, Friday night, and took there from two of their best loved children—a girl of eleven and babe of eighteen months. They had been sick but a short time and were considered much improved when the little one became suddenly convulsed at about three o’clock Friday morning and immediately expired; the other followed shortly, it being less than fifteen minutes from the time its sister departed that she too sank to rest. This doubly sad blow falls depressingly upon the heart-broken parents, but in their affliction let them remember that death in all its sadness is but the bringing nearer of the beauties of a better land. With them in their sorrow the whole community sympathizes.
