EMILIE M. SEELEY (1934 – 2011)

Emilie M. Seeley, 77, of Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral died Tuesday September 13, 2011. She was born in Far Rockaway, NY in 1934 to the late Joseph and Mary Jane Maday. She worked for the County of Jefferson, NY where she provided assistance to the blind. Later she worked for Cape Vincent, NY High School for several years. Emilie retired from the New York State Correctional Facility following twenty years of service. She met Jim Seeley on a cruise and they married in 2000 and she moved to Cape Coral that same year. Emilie attended Faith Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband Jim Seeley, daughter Valerie Cohen of Vero Bch, Fl, her son Thomas H. Martilotta, Sr. of Clayton, NY, one brother Joseph Maday of Adirondack, NY and four grandchildren; Adam, Amanda and Daniel Gidazi, and Thomas H. Martilotta, Jr.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday at Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral. where the family will receive friends for viewing beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in New York. Please visit www.fullermetz.com to share a memory or leave a condolence.
