Elsie Mabel Seeley

SEELEY – July 14th, 1970, Elsie Mabel, aged 56 years, beloved wife of Rev. Thomas Seeley, of 47 Connaught Dr. N.W., passed away after a lengthy illness.  Born in Saskatchewan, she lived in the Harris and Rosetown districts until moving to Saskatcon.  She was married in 1945 and came to Rosebud, Alta.  In 1946 and later resided at Delia and Arrowwood before come to Ceigary in 1957.  Mrs. Seeley took an active interest in all Pleasant Heights Baptist Church activities.  Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Bryon at home; a daughter, Mrs. G. (Shirley) Eppy, Calgary; three brothers, Roy and Hugh Ardell, Saskatoon, and Bruce Ardell, Calgary, five sisters, Mrs. Rita Wickens, Mrs. Verna Dreger, both of Edmonton, Mrs. Mina McCombs and Mrs. Bessie Page, both of Saskatoon, and Mrs. Myrtle Gibbings, Rosetown, Sask.  Services at Ambassador Baptist Church (4807 Valiant Dr. N.W.) on Friday, at 1:30 p.m.  Rev. Cyril Hutchinson of the Berean Bible College officiating.  Interment Queen’s Park.  The Garden Chapel (Foster Funeral Home), 540 19th Ave. N.W. directors.  In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, kindly send donations to the Ambassador Baptist Church memorial fund, 4807 Valiant Dr. N.W.
