Elmer Seeley

Elmer Seeley, 36, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at the Memorial hospital. He had sustained a stroke at the county shops on North Buckeye, where he has been employed for four months, at about 1 o’clock.

He was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and died an hour and a half later.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Larry Dean; one daughter, Inys; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seeley of Marion; two brothers, Ralph of Solomon and Harvey of Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Rex Dody of Marion; and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Wesleyan Methodist church with the Rev. C.W. Jones in charge. Interment will be in the Abilene cemetery. The body will remain at the Tufts-Danner funeral home until the time of the service.
