Elizabeth J. ‘Betty’ Seeley, 66, died Thursday, February 17, 2005, at 11 a.m. at her residence. She was the wife of Wayne C. Seeley. Born November 20, 1938, in Phoenixville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Irvin R. and Mary Jane (Bush) DeHaven. Betty retired in 2001 from the accounting department of the Stauffer Biscuit Company, York. She was a member of Yorkshire United Methodist Church, York. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son. L. Samuel Seeley of York; two grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Bush of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Donald Seeley of Royersford; and a sister, Carol Dougal of Redwood City, Calif. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at Yorkshire United Methodist Church, 125 Edgewood Road, York, with the Rev. Dennis A. Hummel and the Rev. Thomas Webb officiating. A viewing will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Following cremation, burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, at the convenience of the family.
