Elizabeth Beach Seely

SEELY – At a local hospital, on Monday, March 13, 1934, Elizabeth Beach, widow of Stephen Bishop Seely, in her 77th year.  Funeral services at parlors of Hulse Bros. Funeral Home, Limited, on Wednesday, the 14th inst. At 3 p.m.  Interment in Drechwood Mausoleum until Spring, when interment will take place in Union cemetery, Kemptville.

MRS. E.B. SEELY.

Mrs. Elizabeth Beach Seely, widow of Stephen Bishop Seely, of Kemptville died here yesterday after a long illness at the age of  76 years.  Mrs. Seely was widely known in the Capital as well as in and about Kemptville.

Born near Kemptville, Mrs. Seely lived the greater part of her life in that vicinity, coming to Ottawa some 12 years ago.  Her husband predeceased her in 1920.  While in Ottawa, Mrs. Seely worshiped at McLeod Street United Church, although ill-health had prevented her attending recently.

Surviving are one son, Albert Seely, of Ottawa, and two sisters, Mrs. W.R. Barnard, of Ottawa, and Mrs. W.J. Porter, of Kemptville.

The funeral will be held from Hulse Bros.’ Funeral Home, 315 McLeod street, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, to Beechwood Mausoleum.  Interment will be in Uion cemeter, Kemptville, in the Spring.
