Egbert Seeley, 89, South St., Waymart, died yesterday at his home after a long illness.
A native of South Canaan, son of the late Samuel and Mary Wagner Seeley, he had resided in Waymart for the past 56 years. He was a member of Calvary Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Seeley, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral arrangements are incomplete.

The funeral of Egbert Seeley, 203 South St., Waymart, was held yesterday afternoon from the home, with services by the Rev. James Wert, Calvary Methodist Church, Waymart, and the Rev. Russell Edwards, Waymart Baptist Church.
Casket bearers were: Charles A. Wilson, Raymond Corey, Douglas Thorpe, Henry Finn, George Spangenberg and Kenneth Vinar. Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, near Waymart.
