Mrs. Seeley, of Beacon, 79

Mrs. Michael A. Seeley, 79, formerly of 61 Kent St., Beacon, died Wednesday in Millbrook after a long illness.

The former Edna Crusie, she was born in Dutchess Junction, Jan. 4, 1889, the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Slapp) Crusie. She was a communicant of St. John’s Church, Beacon.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Seeley is survived by a son, Michael A. Seeley Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Loretta) Slinsky and Mrs. Philip (Helen) Mattracion, all of Beacon: two brothers, Fred, San Diego, Calif.; and James Crusie, Nanuel: two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Owens, Hopewell Junction: and Mrs. Hazel Burroughs, Albany; several nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow St.
