Mrs. Edith E. Seeley, 60, died June 27, 1946, in her home, 2333 Sunset, after a long illness.
Born May 12, 1886, in Herkimer, she was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Jones and the late Daniel Dodge. She was married in Herkimer, Aug. 16, 1907, to Augustus Seeley, who died in November 1939. A resident of Utica the last 23 years. Mrs. Seeley was a member of Centenary Church, the FA Class and the Women’s Society of Christian Service.
Surviving besides her mother are a son, Sherril J., Utica, a sister, Mrs. Letti MacArthur, Florida and Thousand Islands, two brothers, Arthur Dodge, Winthrop, Mass., and John, Herkimer, and a grandson, James Seeley.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday from her late home and from Centenary Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer.
