Earl O. Seeley, 85, Rt. 19, died in North Side Hospital Tuesday evening after an extended illness.
He was a native of Gainsville, Ark., and a son of the late Edward and Fannie Loony Seeley.
Mr. Seeley was a resident of Johnson City for 50 years and a retired employee of Paty Lumber Co.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lincoln, Neb.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Leonard Seeley; one son, Skip Seeley, Unicoi; one daughter, Dawn Freeland, Hampton Roads, Va.; one foster son, Gary Canter, Boones Creek; four grandchildren; and one niece.
Morris Baker is in charge.
Funeral services for Earl O. Seeley, 85, Rt. 19, who died Tuesday evening will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Click officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from members of the family. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Morris-Baker Funeral Home, 2001 Oakland Ave., is in charge of the arrangements.
