E.A. Seely

E.A. Seely, 70 years old, a resident in Wheeling and vicinity for the past forty-five years, died at his home in that town Monday night at nine o’clock of pneumonia after an illness of only a week.

He is survived by the following: a brother, Lester Seely at Wheeling; a nephew, Morton Seely of Brookfield; a niece, Mrs. Ed Belshe of Wheeling; and a nephew, Eldon Seely.

Mr. Seely was one of the most prominent and best liked men in Wheeling township. For twenty-five years, he held the position of assistant postmaster and postmaster. Mr. Seely was a member of the Episcopal church and politically a Republican.

Funeral services will be held from the Baptist church in Wheeling Wednesday afternoon and burial will be made in the Wheeling Cemetery. Rev. Henry will have charge of the services. Published in The Chillicothe Constitution, February 17, 1914
