A memorial service for Dorothy Seely D’Ooge, who died Sunday at age 78, will be tomorrow at the Pioneer Congregational United Church of Christ, 2700 L. St., at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.

A native of San Francisco, Mrs. D’Ooge lived in the Sacramento area for 34 years.  She was the director of the Tuesday Club Choral.  She also founded the Sacramento Ballet Guild and was its director for eight years.

Like her late husband, Leonard D’Ooge, she was a music lover and directed the Sacramento Community Concert Series.  She was a member of the Parkside Community church of Sacramento.

Her survivors include a son, John Seely of Hollywood; a sister, Mary Seely of Oakland, and one grandchild.

The family requests any remembrances be made to the Parkside Community Church Memorial Fund, 2700 South Land Park Drive.  Arrangements are being made under the direction of Harry A. Nauman and Son.
