Donald G. Seeley, 51, of 52 Platt St., died Friday (March 31, 1989) at Glens Falls Hospital after a short illness.
Born March 15, 1938, in Fort Edward, he was the son of the late Clifton and Clara (Washburn) Seeley.
He married the former Donna Colvin on June 29, 1957, in Glens Falls.
Mr. Seeley was employed by the Queensbury Central School system. He was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church of Hudson Falls. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors besides his wife include two sons, Gerald Seeley of Glens Falls and Mark Seeley of Hudson Falls; one daughter, Michele Seeley of Glens Falls; three brothers, Clifton Seeley and Gerald Seeley, both of South Glens Falls, and Robert Seeley of Glens Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Milford (Eleanor) Eggleston of South Glens Falls and Mrs. Paul (Virginia) Rainbow of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carleton Funeral Home Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls, with the Rev. Lawrence Larson, pastor of the Gospel Lighthouse Church, officiating.
Burial will be at Moss Street Cemetery, Kingsbury.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 and 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the charity of one’s choice instead of flowers.
