Dennis C. Seeley Sr., of West Creek, born Oct. 22, 1938 in Brooklyn NY, went home to God with his loving family at his side on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. A lifetime member and past president who served over 50 years with the Eagleswood Volunteer Fire Co. & Relief Assoc. Mr. Seeley was also an extremely talented and well-known Folk Artist in the area. He was also a member of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne. Retired custodian from Pinelands Regional HS.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Irene (Sherri) and his brother, Harold Seeley. Dennis leaves behind his sons, Dennis C. Seeley Jr. & wife Janine (Schnell) Seeley and son, William L. Seeley & wife Donna (Hafler) Seeley. He also leaves behind a brother, Louis Seeley and a sister, Pat Ganim. Mr. Seeley was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him.
A Memorial to celebrate his life is open to the public from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at the Eagleswood Volunteer Fire Co. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to the family: Dennis C. Seeley Jr., 220 Kelly Ave., West Creek, NJ 08092 or to the Eagleswood Volunteer Fire Co. in his memory.
