Clarence John “Pops” Seeley

Clarence John ”Pops” Seeley, Jr., 81, died March 18, 2007. Mr. Seeley lived in Myakka City and was originally from Jamestown, N.Y. He moved to Manatee County in 1990 from Treasure Island, Fla. Mr. Seeley was a gas welder. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Survivors include sons, Ronald Seeley, of Panama, N.Y., Gary Seeley, of Myakka City, Fla.; daughters, Patricia Huffman, of Mayville, N.Y., Joan Harding, of Ashville, N.Y., Sandra Seeley, of Lakewood, N.Y., and Jane Vangieson, of Panama, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Smith. Memorial contributions may go to Bay Pines Healthcare System, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744. Covell Cremation and Funeral Center is serving the family.
