Chloe Seeley, former area resident, dies

Mrs. Chloe E. (Empson) Seeley, 81, widow of Lindon E. Seeley, formerly of Spring City, died Sunday morning at Lancashire Hall, Neffsville, Lancaster County, where she was a guest the past month after a one year illness.

Born in Ulysses, Potter County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Olive Bailey Empson.

She was a member of Bible Fellowship Church, Spring City.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Y. Miller, 654 Main St., Royersford; Thelma N., wife of Otis Cox, State Road, Phoenixville, and Audrey J., wife of Anthony Perry, Milford, Mass.

Also five sons, Paul A., Limerick Road, Royerford; Samuel E., 345 Spring St., Royersford; George B., Pennsville, N.J.; Richard R., 201 Main St., Royerford, and Wayne C., York, Pa.; two sisters, Irma, wife of Nelson Ackers, Genessee, Pa., and Bessie, wife of  Irving Mullins, Aldred, N.Y.

Also three brothers, Robert Empson, Genessee, Pa.; Gerald and Kenneth Empson, both of Ulysses, Pa., 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday from Shalkop Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St., Spring City.

The Rev. Richard E. Taylor, pastor of Bible Fellowship Church, Spring City, will officiate.

Interment will be in Vincent Mennonite Cemetery, Spring City.

A viewing will be noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
