Charles was born near Albion on July 4, 1872, the son of Lewis and Fidelia Seely, one of 3 children, 2 sisters and the parents having preceded him in death. He was born on the same farm where his whole life was spent. In 1899 he married Minnie Brackney. She died June 17, 1943. They had three children, one son Lewis, died as an infant. Those surviving are Mrs. Clarence Rowe and Ellsworth and 6 grandchildren. He died Oct. 29, 1945, being past 73 years of age. Services at Bonham & Miser Funeral Home Oct. 31. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery.
