Charles Guy Seely

Hinsdale  Charles Guy Seely, 69, of Hinsdale, died of heart failure Feb. 2, 1996, in the Veterans’ Home in Columbia Falls.  Cremation has taken place.  Burial will be at Hinsdale at a later date.

A son of Guy and Eleanor Seely, he was born in Hinsdale and attended school there.  Later, he joined the Seabees.  In 1943, he served in the Pacific in World War II.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodwork.

Survivors include his wife, Irene of Plentywood; a son Gary Seely of Milpitas, Calif.; a brother Albert Seely of Havre; two sisters, Norma McNulty of Middletown, Ohio, and Ethel Ost of Fort Peck; a grandson and a great-grandson.

A son, Donald Seely, died in 1994.
