Son of the late Rilla and Addison Seely, Hampton, NB. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Alexander). Loving father of Eileen (Dave Speirs), Mark (Lyse-Marie Aubin), Carolyn (William Morrison), and Peggy (Phap Lu). Wonderful grandfather to Riley and Scott Speirs; Leah, Kristen and Adam Seely; Kathryn, Alex and Nora Morrison; Emily, Jenna and Curtis Lu. Survived by brothers Delbert (Phyllis) Saint John, NB, Bert (Marge) Rothesay, NB and sister Pauline Legassick (the late Rev Kenneth Legassick), Hampton, NB. Several Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by brother Jack and wife Audrey. Charles graduated from Hampton High School and attended Modern Business College, Saint John, NB. He served in the RCAF from 1943-1945. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University in 1950 and joined Canada Mortgage and Housing working in Saint John NB, St. John’s, NFLD, and Head Office in Ottawa. A Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel United church, 691 Smyth Road on Saturday, January 5th at 2 PM. Visitation and Reception to follow service. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Alta Vista Manor, Medex and the Emergency Department at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their thoughtfulness and care.
