Seeley, Carl Edward “Eddie”- 75 of Marshalltown, Digby Co. passed away January 9, 2012 with his family by his side. Born May 16, 1936 he was a son of the late Benjamin and Annie (Farnsworth) Seeley. Eddie was a devoted husband, father and grandfather “papa”. Eddie fished for over fifty years and also enjoyed working in the woods, traveling and he cherished the time he spent with his family. Eddie is survived by his wife Charlotte (Thomas) Seeley; daughters, Gail Vroom; Sherry (Omie) Winchester; Janice (Barry Van Tassel) Seeley; Judy (Hubert LeBlanc) Jordan; Janet “Jennie” (Kelly) Deveau; son, Michael (Judy) Seeley; sister, Shirley (Daniel) Morton; grandchildren; Heather, Monica, Jason, James, Amanda, Melissa, Craig, Leighton, Ariel, Sheena, Travis, Karley and Jordan; twenty great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Eddie was predeceased by his sons; Charles Anthony “Tony” Seeley, Carl James Seeley and brother, Benjamin Seeley. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby (245-2525). Funeral Mass 11:00am Friday in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby, Father Keith Billard presiding. Cremation to follow Funeral Mass. Interment will be in Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown.
