Bruce E. Seeley of Syracuse died April 21, 2018. Life resident of Syracuse, he attended Onondaga Valley Academy. He retired from St. Joseph’s Hospitals’ Psychiatric Dept. after 32 years and was later employed by H.E.R.E. Local 150 and volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospital Information Desk. He was associated with many choral groups in the Syracuse area and was a recipient of a voice scholarship to Syracuse University. He’s predeceased by his father, Joseph H. Seeley a Deputy Sheriff for Onondaga County; brothers, Alexander L. Seeley and Joseph Seeley Jr., both involved in law enforcement in the Syracuse area.
He is survived by a niece, Janet Seeley of Baldwinsville; sister-in-law, Mrs. Teresa Seeley of Solvay; many nieces and nephews. Graveside service 10 AM Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. No calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. of Central New York.
