Longtime resident of San Jose, CA.
Betty Jean Seely (Pollard), 74, entered God’s Kingdom and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 17, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband Robert John Seely, daughter Deborah (Greg) Macres, sons Randy (Rema) Seely and Rick (Paula) Seely, grandchildren Ashley Rose, Gregory, Matthew, Victoria, Nicole, Ryan, Ryanna, Rahema, Renea, Cole and Calvin, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Betty was a dedicated wife and mother for her family. In addition, Betty also ran a daycare center from her home, making her the beloved “daytime” mom for many children. An avid cook and homemaker, Betty was always preparing delicious homemade meals for family and friends, and shared her treasured recipes with many.
Betty met her longtime love Robert (Bob) Seely while attending Campbell High School. They celebrated 55 years of love and life together. Betty loved to travel in their motorhome with her husband Bob and her cherished dog Brandi. Spending time with family and friends while traveling across the country with countless fond memories of Shasta, Tahoe, Oroville, Oregon Cascade, Palm Springs and Pismo Beach.
A private memorial service will be held for Betty in San Jose, CA. In lieu of flowers, Betty would have welcomed a donation to the Children’s Gaucher Research Fund, online donations can be made at www.cgrf.org . This non-profit was near and dear to Betty’s heart due to the fact that she lost her beloved grandson Gregory at the tender age of four to the disorder.
Rest in peace Betty, you will be greatly missed and forever loved.
