Bertha (Whisler) Seely, 79 a resident of Greenfield, passed away January 2, 2008 at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1928 in Wilkinson she was the daughter of the late Willis “Shorty” Whisler and Bessie (Bennett) Whisler.
A graduate of Wilkinson High School and a graduate of Anderson School of Cosmetology. She was active member of Westland Friends Church and Westland Ladies Guild.
Survivors include: Her beloved husband: Robert Dale Seely of Greenfield, two daughters: Vicki Reeves, Jo Ann (John) Holt, all of Greenfield. One son: Robert Seely of Greenfield. One sister: Augusta Jean Richardson of Georgia, one brother: Earl Whisler of Shirley. 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and son-in-law: Barbara and Ron Patton, one grandson: Jesse Reeves.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 5, 2008 at 10:00am at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. With Rev. Rod Abrahams officiating. Burial will follow At McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Friends may call Friday January 4, 2008 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
