Azel Ward Seeley

(1898- 1965)

Azel Ward Seeley, 74, 1418-10th East, died of cancer Wednesday at his home.

Born Aug. 28, 1898, Castle Dale, Emery County, to Don Carlos and Hannah Elizabeth Reynolds Seely. Married to Iva Cella Rasmussen June 25, 1913, Castle Dale; solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Employe of ZCMI, miner and farmer. High priest in Emerson Ward.

Survivors: widow; sons, daughters, Ward A., Salt Lake City; Cloyd D., Bountiful; Capt. DeVon C., USMC, Japan; Mrs. William D. (Maxine) Knoble, Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren; brother, Marion, Bluebell, Utah.

Funeral Monday noon, Emerson Ward chapel, 1080 Emerson Ave. Friends call at 36 E. 7th South Sunday 6-8 p.m., Monday 11-11:45 a.m. at chapel. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
