Arthur A. “Art” Seeley

(1954- 2011)

Arthur A. “Art” Seeley, 57, of Parsons died early Thursday morning, Oct. 13, 2011, at his home. He had been in failing health.

He was born on Jan. 19, 1954, at Kansas City, Mo., to Elmer and Nancy Pauline (Petty) Seeley. He worked as a carpenter.

He married Deborah Fike on May 22, 2005, at Joplin. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Tami Plummer of Carl Junction, Mo., Nancy Simons of Carthage, Mo., Mary Pierce of Rolla, Mo., and Becky Limbaugh of Joplin; a stepson, Christopher LeBlanc of Reno, Nev.; a stepdaughter, Sherry Owens of the home; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Ronnie Seeley of Joplin, Rick Seeley of Carterville, Mo., David Seeley of Webb City, Mo., and Larry Seeley of Denver.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Mr. Seeley has donated his body to the Genesis Legacy of Life Program in Memphis, Tenn. A memorial service will be at noon Tuesday at Parsons Foursquare Church.
