Alice Seeley, 92
Alice Seely, a resident of Staples, died at the Lakewood Health System Care Center March 28, 2010.
A funeral service was held Thursday at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Burial was at the Motley Public Cemetery.
Alice was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Tracy, to David and Cora (Alexander) Smith. She grew up there and graduated from the eighth grade. She married Paul Seely and they moved to Staples where Paul worked for the railroad. They had one daughter.
Alice is survived by her daughter Charlotte Seely of Browerville; a brother Clem (Eva) Coverston of Fridley; local nieces, Alice (Paul) Delaney, Susan (Doug) Cyrus, and Ann (Joe) Wright; as well as other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul; and six brothers.
