Mr., Mrs. Charles Seeley

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seeley, 504 W. Herrick Ave., Wellington, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. Seeley and the former Ellene Croskey were married by the Rev. Lonzo Green on Dec. 31, 1937, in the Methodist parsonage in Wellington. They have resided at their present address since their marriage, except for two years spent in Maumee.

Mr. Seeley was employed as a distributor by Marathan Oil of Findlay until his retirement in 1976. He was also employed by Farm and Home Hardware. He is past master of Wellington Masonic Lodge, a volunteer bus driver for the Senior Citizens and enjoys woodworking, reading and traveling. Mrs. Seeley, a member of Eastern Stars, enjoys needlepoint and crossword puzzles.

The couple are the parents of: Charlene Brumfield of Elyria; Leland, who lives in Wellington, Thomas, of North Canton, and Douglas, who resides in Columbus. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Family celebrations were held in October at Westlake Holiday Inn and on New Year’s Eve.
