Announcements have been received in this city of the marriage of Mr. Herman Gilfilen, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Gilfilen to Miss Dorothy Seely at the bride’s home, 3028 East 17th street, Oakland, California, at nine o’clock Friday evening, September 15. Dr. ___mer, an Episcopal minister officiated. Mr. Gilfilen, who has been a resident of Oakland for the past two years, is a graduate of the Whatcom high school and the University of Oregon. Mrs. Gilfilen, nee Seely; is a gifted coloratura-soprano of Oakland and San Francisco musical circles.
