Neighborhood Party Honors Brides-to-be

RUSHVILLE – Miss Joyce E. Seely, who has been a secretary in the insurance office of F.J. Blodgett, Canandaigua, since her graduation from R.B.I. in November, 1945, has resigned, and is at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Seely, until her marriage on Saturday, May 31, to Emory L. Fox of Rushville. The wedding will be at the Seely home.

Miss Seely was the guest of honor last Wednesday at a tea and kitchen shower given by her aunt, Mrs. Laverna Deady, and daughter, Mrs. Patricia Brooks, Geneva, to 18 relatives. Thursday evening, May 15, Mrs. Ralph Martin and Miss Emma Fox will entertain the members of the Phi Chi class at a variety shower at the former’s home in her honor.

Miss Seely and Miss Gladys Veraska, whose marriage to Emory Green takes place Saturday, shared honors at a neighborhood party given by Mrs. J.A. Paddock and Mrs. Kenneth Lee at the latter’s home this afternoon.
