Mt. Pleasant Girl Sails For Honolulu to Marry

MT. PLEASANT – Mrs. Earle H. Seely announces the engagement of her daughter, Maurine Merle, to William Elliott Watson Jr. of Honolulu, Hawaii, formerly of Spring City.

Miss Seely sailed for Honolulu from Los Angeles on the S.S. Mariposa, September 23, and the marriage will be performed on her arrival there. She was accompanied by her fiancé’s sister, Miss Helen Watson of Spring City.

Miss Seely, who was a member of North Sanpete stake M.I.A. board, as Gleaners Girls’ activity leader, was the motif for several social functions in her honor before her departure.
