Why is “Seeley” on Thermos Bottles?

Pam Turner writes an enlightening article in the latest SGS Newsletter about why the Seeley name is on Thermos bottles.  Here’s an excerpt:

“Have you ever read the bottom of your thermos? I had not until my Aunt Florence pointed out that the Seeley name is on thermos bottles. When I found a thermos in an antique store, I had to see for myself, and there it was on the bottom: “King-Seeley.” Of course, I now had to know more…”
