Passed away Wednesday evening, April 2, 1986. Mrs. Seeley was born May 2, 1917 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of John and Rena (Schreduder) Gruizenga and had been a life resident of this community. She had retired from the Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital where she was employed for many years. She was a former member of the Missionary Church of Kalamazoo. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary L. Seeley on April 20, 1973 and by a grand-son Brian Scott Seeley on January 23, 1979. Surviving is a son, Gerald Jr. and his wife, Pam of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter Rena Toppen and her husband Donald of Plainwell; 9 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 1 sister; Joe Gruizenga of Portage, Nick Gruizenga of Kalamazoo, William Gruizenga of Portage, Mrs. Jeanette Hiemstra of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Seeley will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Langeland Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with Pastor R.J. Clark of the Westwood Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Mt. EverRest Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
