V.M. Seeley dies, rites Thursday

SENECA FALLS – Vincent Milo Seeley, 48, of Dawson avenue, Auburn, a former village resident, died yesterday in Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Syracuse, following a brief illness.

Born in Jordan, he had resided most of his life in this area. He was a retired chief petty officer of the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Doris Andre Seeley, at home; four daughters, Misses Linda, Patricia and Jean Seeley, all of Seneca Falls, and Mrs. Kenneth Olschewske of Waterloo; a son, Michael Seeley, this village; one sister, Mrs. Paul McNaney, Seneca Falls; and two brothers, Frank Seeley also of this village and James Seeley of Jordan.

Services, with full military rites, will be conducted Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Bryrne Funeral Home, 28, Cayuga St., and at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church. Burial will be in St. Columkille Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Wednesday at the funeral home.
