m. Jemima Collins (b about 1736) of Cornwall, Orange Co., NY.  Sister of Adam Collins of Blooming Grove, Orange Co., NY, whose will was dated 1 May 1770 and named sister, Jemima Seeley and brother-in-law, Nathaniel Seeley and nephew, Samuel Seeley.

In Cornwall, Orange Co., NY 1765 town records, Nathaniel and Bazaleel Seeley were mentioned as overseers of roads.  Nathaniel and Jemima Seeley removed to Southport, Chemung Co., NY in 1791/5.  They settled near Seeley’s Creek where son Nathaniel Jr. had previously located.

Nathaniel severed in the Westchester County, NY Militia, 4th Regiment, under Colonel Thaddeus Crane.
