Mrs. James Seeley
DELHI – Mrs. James Seeley, 83, of Delhi, died Saturday, November 23, at the Delaware County Infirmary at Delhi following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the McCall Funeral Home in Delhi, with the Rev. Gene Black, pastor of the Delhi Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Hamden Cemetery.
A native of the former hamlet of Pepacion, Mrs. Seeley was born August 1, 1874, the daughter of George and Hannah (Barnes) MacFarland. She was married to James Seeley, who died in 1939. She was a member of the Delhi Methodist Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Broas, Ellenville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lulu Mercile, Shinhopple; two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Joslin, Bloomville, and Mrs. Charles Russell, Middleburgh; two brothers, Robert MacFarland of West Davenport and Charles MacFarland, Arkville.
Friends may call at the McCall Funeral Home until service time.
