b. 1745, New Milford, CT.
d. 18 May 1812, Toronto, Canada, fighting in British Service.
m. 17 July 1766, Sarah Stewart/Stuart (b 7 Apr 1745, East Haddam, CT; d 17 Sep 1826, Saint George, New Brunswick, Canada).  Daughter of William and Sarah Buck Stewart.

He was a Loyalist.  His property in Connecticut was confiscated in 1786.

The family went to Saint John, New Brunswick on the ship Sally in 1783 and took up land near Saint George, NB.  Lived there 7 years and then moved to Susquehanna River Valley, PA.  They returned to Pickering, Upper Canada, (now Ontario), in 1807.
