MIDDLEBURY – Ruth H. Seeley, 90, died Aug. 6, 2005, at Helen Porter Health and Rehabilitation in Middlebury.

She was born July 5, 1915, in Middlebury, the daughter of George F. and Grace (Richards) Seeley.

She had worked for more than 47 years at Middlebury College Infirmary as the house manager and as a cook.

She was a member of Middlebury Congregational Church, where she was a member of the church Women’s Club, and Adelphi Circle of Kings Daughters, where she held various offices.

Survivors include a sister, Marion Cartland of Middlebury; and six cousins, David Seeley of Salisbury, Elaine Donevan, Jane Bradley, Lorraine Seeley, Dick Seeley and John Seeley.

There are no calling hours.

The service of remembrance will be at 12:20 p.m. Friday at Middlebury Congregational Church.

Private burial will take place in Farmingdale (Seeley) Cemetery, Middlebury.
