SEELEY, Ronald R. – Of Davison, age 85, died Thursday, April 16, 1998 at Genesys Hospice Care Center-Goodrich. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon Saturday, April 18, 1998 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. A Military Graveside Service will be conducted by Davison VFW Post #4087 at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Seeley will lie in state at the Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., where the family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-9PM on Friday. Mr. Seeley will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 11AM until the time of service. A Scripture Service will be held 7:30PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Ronald was born in Davison, MI on May 14, 1912 and had lived in Davison all of his life. Ronald married Catherine Burns on October 12, 1940 in Mt. Morris and she preceded him in death on February 9, 1991. Mr. Seeley was a life-long member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. He was also an avid bowler. Ron owned and operated a service station in Otisville, MI for 25 years. Surviving are: 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Christine Seeley of Spring Lake, MI, Patrick and Earnine Seeley of Clio, MI; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Gilbert Seeley and wife Edna of Farmington Hills, MI; sisters-in-law, Helen and Fred Globig, Margaret and Bob Beck; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers at Genesys Hospice-Goodrich.
