Richard B. Seeley, 60, Olathe, KS, passed away September 30, 2001, at Olathe Medical Center, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Monterey, CA, April 7, 1941, he had lived in Olathe most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Col. Robert B. Seeley, his mother, Gayle G. Seeley, a brother, Wayne L. Seeley, and a daughter, Jennifer. He leaves behind two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Williams, Kingsbury, TX, and Carol Seeley, Fairbanks, AK, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a daughter, Heather Newman, Yucaipa, CA, and a son, Sundance, Shawnee, KS, and two grandsons. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, at Daybreak Community Church, 15000 W. 63rd St. and Lackman Rd, Shawnee, KS. Cremation.
