Richard Alan Seeley On April 25, 2008 a gentle spirit and kind heart ended too soon due to complications from alcohol abuse. Richard was the youngest child of Harold and Shirley Seeley. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico in 1956. Richard grew up in Lakewood, WA, graduating from Lakes High School in 1975. He was a proud member of the Lake’s choir and their first soccer club. He spent many years playing on various recreational soccer teams with his dog, Reggie, on the sidelines. Richard loved the outdoors and enjoyed beautifying the lawns and gardens of his clients. Richard is survived by his parents of Lakewood, two sisters; Ann (Dan) Merrill of Gig Harbor, Carol ( Mike) Jones of Bellingham and two brothers; Art (Diana) Seeley of Puyallup and Robert of Des Moines, special nieces and nephew; Crystal Thompson, Erinn and Jennifer Seeley and Derek Seeley. Richard was predeceased by his nephew and “good bud”, Devin Seeley in May of 2006. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you share a kindness from your heart each day in Richard’s memory. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery at a future date with a private family service.
