Olen B. “Bud” Seeley Jr., 80, of Syracuse, died June 22, 2007. A native and life resident of Syracuse, he retired in 1988 from Local #545 after 55 years of service. He was a retired military navy veteran of WW II, Korea and the Cuban Crisis. He was a member of the Phoenix VFW 5540, SVA19 SEABEES of America. He was predeceased by a son, James Vandewalker; a sister, Elizabeth Foran; and a daughter, Marietta Becker.

Surviving are his wife, Vivian Niles Seeley; two sons, Robert T. and David P. Seeley; four daughters, Coni Wilson, Toni Ramacus, Linda Seeley and Deborah Crabtree; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool.
