MRS. MILDRED S. SEELEY
Mrs. Mildred Smith Seeley, age 78, of 4D, Arnot-Ogden Memorial Hospital, Elmira, N.Y., formerly of Millerton, Pa., died Thursday, February 3, 1977 at Arnot-Ogden.
She was the wife of the late Richard J. Seeley who passed away May 30, 1972.
Mrs. Seeley was a member of the Millerton United Methodist Church and Mitchell’s Mills Grange. She was deeply involved with the historical background of Millerton and surrounding Tioga County. She was a past Republican Councilwoman from Millerton.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Marilyn) Cowburn of North Syracuse, N.Y.; two sons, Richard James Seeley of Phoenix, Arizona and Jonas Alan Seeley of Elmira, N.Y.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral and committal services were held at the conclusion of calling hours at 9 p.m. Saturday evening, February 5, 1977 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Elmira, N.Y. The Reverend Wayne Richards, her pastor, officiated. Interment was in Alder Run Cemetery.
