Seeley, Mary Alice
Mary Alice Seeley, 83, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at home. Born November 25, 1930 in Renovo, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Helena (Hartsock) Herter. Mary Alice was a member of the Galeton VFW Ladies Auxiliary and owned and operated Meadowbrook Campground in Galeton for many years. She loved the campground and flowers. Surviving are two sons, James (Mo) Chalmers, Jr., Germania, PA and Albert (Gail) Seeley, Brookland, PA; three daughters, Linda Chalmers-Milliron, Berwick, PA, Delores Potter, Galeton, and Donna (Ronald) Bailey, Galeton; two brothers, Albert (Sandy) Herter, Arizona and Clyde (girlfriend, Maxine) Herter, West Virginia; a sister, Juanita Watson, Bloomsburg, PA; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Private Family Service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice . Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
