Marjorie Seeley, aged 81, of Howard City passed away April 2 at her daughter’s residence in Dimondale. She was born May 22, 1924 in Traverse City, MI, the daughter of Leman and Mable (Tompkins) Seeley. During her working years she worked for Jet Electronics in Grand Rapids for approx 20 years before retiring in 1983. Marge loved knitting, playing cards, crossword puzzles and ceramics. She traveled to Florida this year for the first time. Surviving are her children, Tony, LaRita and Kara; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and eight great great-grandsons; her beloved cat, Tigger; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at The Heckman Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Meis officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials to Hospice services of Michigan may be left at the Funeral home where friends may call on Tuesday Morning from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11:00.
