Mrs. William Seeley In Her 78th Year
Mrs. William J. Seeley, 77, of 39 South Cedar street, Beacon, died yesterday in the Millbrook infirmary where she had been receiving treatment since December.
The former Miss Margaret Theresa Maguire, Mrs. Seeley was born in Newburgh, Oct. 7, 1876, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Henry Maguire. She and Mr. Seeley were married in Beacon, Jan. 15, 1907. Mrs. Seeley was a communicant of St. John’s church, Beacon.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, William Joseph Seeley, Beacon fire driver: a daughter, Mrs. Frank Tompkins, Beacon: two sisters, Mrs. Alice O’Leary and Mrs. Emma Walker, Beacon; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hignell Funeral home, 10 Willow street, Beacon, at 10:15 o’clock, Saturday and at St. John’s church at 11 o’clock, when a High Mass of Requiem will be offered. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and tomorrow afternoon, and night.
