LEON EDWARD SEELEY

CANDOR – Leon Edward Seeley, 70, Candor, and formerly of Brooktondale, died Friday, January 28, 2005, at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca. He was born in Ithaca on January 27, 1935, the son of the late James Northrup Seeley and Margaret Dickson. Leon is survived by two sisters, Grace Vardabash, Ft. Lauderdale, FL/Syracuse, NY, Edna (Gene) Reynolds, Spencer; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a past member of the Brooktondale Fire Department. Leon retired from Ithaca College having worked as a custodian.

Friends may call at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Rev. Wayne R. Marx will officiate at the service at 1 p.m. Spring interment will be in Grove Cemetery, Trumansburg, NY. Memorials in Leon’s name may be directed to Brooktondale Fire Department, Brooktondale, NY 14817
