Laura (Hansen) Seeley

(1886- 1964)

ROOSEVELT, Duchesne County – Mrs. Laura Hansen Seeley, 77, died of natural causes Tuesday at 7:35 a.m. in a Roosevelt hospital.

Born Oct. 18, 1886, in Moroni, Sanpete County, to Joseph F. and Emma Jane Stott Hansen. Married Marion Carlos Seeley, Feb. 18, 1903, in Castle Dale, Emery County. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Taught in Primary, Relief Society, YWMIA.

Survivors: husband, Roosevelt, four sons, one daughter, Francis M. Seeley, Petaluma, Calif., Movell Seeley, Ogden; Wallace J. Seeley, Bluebell, Duchesne County; Afton D. Seeley, Salt Lake City; Betty Lou Seeley, Roosevelt; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, three sisters, Stanley Hansen, Provo, Francis and James Hansen, both of Price; Mrs. Harry (Edna) Latturner, Mrs. Albert (Hattie) Olsen, Mrs. Van (Dolma) Keel, all of Price.

Funeral, Friday, 1 p.m. Roosevelt Ward Chapel. Friends call at Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt, Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday before service. Burial, Roosevelt City Cemetery.
